Right, I know that 'Jimmy Page' is a member of the band, 'Led Zeppelin', so let's get that one out of the way! Jimmy's page is about the man himself and , given his condition, what he has achieved in life.

So just who is Jimmy ? Well actually, he is the good lady wife's brother. When he was a child, he suffered some kind of trauma, which left him mentally disadvantaged. This meant that although his physical  development progressed nomally, his mental faculties did not. Eventually, he was taken into care and he was resident a few years ago at Leisieux Hall, at Whittle Le Woods, near Chorley. Latterly, he and a few others were moved to a private house, where there are carers who see to their needs.

Although the house is well equipped with home entertainment gadgets, TV, DVD,Video and the like, they are encouraged to develop social skills, not easy when your communication is limited by your condition. But alongside that, there are activities such as pottery and it is this activity which Jimmy has excelled at. 

Now, pottery is something which, I must admit, I've never had a go at. I'm sure as a first attempt, I'd probably make a complete hash of it. But Jimmy has at least, managed to produce something and, although it may not match up to the standards of a 'master potter' it is no less of an achievement.
